I’m Jani Syrjälä, a Finnish language teacher at Ålands lyceum. Over the years, I’ve organized school trips, language exchanges, and student collaborations across Finland.
While planning and running these trips, I kept running into the same issue: everything was scattered across messages, PDFs, emails, and paper notes. It made trips harder to manage, reduced clarity for students, and limited my ability to maintain full oversight as a teacher.
I created TripControl to solve this. I wanted a single, structured system where everything related to a trip is in one place—clear schedules, communication, tasks, and safety features—so that both teachers and students always know what’s happening.
