LinguaLink is designed to make school-to-school language exchanges simple to organise.
1. A teacher creates a space
The teacher creates a communication space for a class, project or language exchange.
Teachers decide how the space will be used and which communication activities are available.
2. Students join
Students can join using a simple code, making it easy to bring a class into the activity without complicated account creation.
3. Schools connect
Students from different schools meet inside a shared, teacher-managed environment.
The exchange can involve two classes studying each other’s languages or groups working with another target language.
4. Students start communicating
Depending on the activity, students can communicate through:
- discussion rooms
- message walls
- live chat
- small-group conversations
- text messages
- images
- voice messages
- reactions
Teachers can create structured activities or simply provide a space where conversation can develop naturally.
5. Language becomes purposeful
Students are no longer writing only for their teacher.
They are communicating with another person who is genuinely interested in understanding what they have to say.
