TripControl is a platform designed to help organize and manage educational trips, school travel, and group activities. We are committed to protecting personal data and handling information transparently and securely.

For teachers/admins:

  • Account role

For students:

  • First name or display name
  • Trip participation information

Students can join trips using a trip code and do not need to create a full email-based account.

b) Trip and Communication Data

Depending on how TripControl is used, we may process:

  • Trip schedules and itinerary information
  • Announcements and messages
  • Task submissions
  • Check-ins
  • Uploaded photos, text, and voice messages
  • Emergency information shared within a trip

c) Technical and Usage Data

We may collect limited technical information such as:

  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • App version
  • Basic usage and diagnostic information

This information is used only to improve functionality, reliability, and security.

2. How We Use Information

We retain data only as long as necessary for functionality and support purposes.

Examples:

  • Active trip data is stored during the trip period
  • Some trip-related content may remain temporarily after the trip ends
  • Certain uploaded media (such as chat photos or voice messages) may be automatically deleted after a limited retention period (30 days)

Users or schools may request deletion of personal data where applicable.

6. Children’s Privacy

TripControl is intended for educational use under the supervision of teachers, schools, or organizers.

We aim to minimize personal data collection from students and children. Students typically join trips using invitation codes and limited identifying information.

Schools and organizers are responsible for ensuring lawful and appropriate use within their educational context.
