EduLeaf develops digital services intended for educational environments, making privacy and responsible handling of information especially important.
The amount and type of information processed depends on which EduLeaf service you use and how you interact with it.
EduLeaf aims to follow the principle of data minimisation: only information reasonably necessary for providing and improving the relevant service should be collected and processed.
TripControl
TripControl processes information required to provide trip-management functionality, which may include teacher accounts, trip information, participant information, messages, activities and content submitted through the platform.
Because school trips may involve young people, particular attention is given to access control, security and appropriate handling of trip information.
LinguaLink
LinguaLink is designed around teacher-managed educational spaces.
Students can participate using access provided by their teacher, reducing the need for students to create conventional personal accounts.
Depending on the activities enabled by the teacher, content may include messages, images, voice recordings, reactions and other contributions made within the learning environment.
Security
EduLeaf uses technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
Access to information is restricted according to the functions and roles provided within each platform.
Data retention
Information should not be retained longer than necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.
Retention periods may vary depending on the EduLeaf service and the type of information involved.
Your rights
Depending on applicable data-protection legislation and the circumstances in which information is processed, individuals may have rights relating to their personal data, including rights to access, correction and deletion.
